Our goal at hogstoppers is to help landowners deal with their wild pig problems.  Send us an email to learn how we can help you with wild hog control.  We know we can't solve everyones wild pig problem, so we are providing any help we can with hog control.  If not through us then, through someone else.  There are millions of wild pigs in the U.S. and we aim to provide a service and forum dedicated to help facilitate their removal.

Our pricing is set low to make effective hog control possible.  We do incur expenses through dog training, gas, food, equipment, website operations and more.  In order to provide a professional service, we must at least cover these cost.

Please visit our FAQ to see answers to some of the common questions about hog control.  Feel free to send us your own.  Also don't forget to visit the Photo Gallery to see pictures from our hunts.  Although we don't typically lug a camera around we do try to take an occassional photo.  If you have photos of hogs or hog damage and would like them to be displayed, please email them to us.
Low Cost Professional Wild Pig Removal
& Hog Hunting and Trapping Resources
We are primarily a father and sons team. Although usually no more than two or three of us hunt at one time, there are five us total. We have well trained labs that are loved as pets and live to hunt wild hogs. Being family members, our main priorities are the safety of ourselves, livestock and the people around us.

My Father
Is a retired archaeologist, father of 5 and an exceptional hunter and tracker. He is instrumental in planning our method of removal and game plan when hunting a property. He also is the owner of our hunting dogs and trains them methodically from birth.

Myself(Darrell)
I was a computer technician and owned a computer repair business in East Texas.  My wife is a travel nurse and we take 3 month placements throughout Texas and the nation.  I am in Texas for about half of the year and frequently go on hog hunts with the dogs.

Richard, Wes & Byron
Three of my brothers that  go with us on hog hunts.  Richard is a very experienced hog hunter and gets to the bayed hogs when no one else can.

The Dogs
Ben is our best and most seasoned hog-dog. He is extremely obedient and has been a great influence on our two other dogs Splash and Buddy.  Splash has become a great asset as well.  He is totally fearless and will turn even the biggest boar on the run.  At almost 100lbs, Buddy is like a high speed tank.  These dogs amaze me every time we go out. When they encounter a pig, they know their job is to hold them there until we arrive. Just by the way they bark, we know the size of the pig before we get to them. Abby is another lab we take hunting occasionally. She is owned by a friend and works well with Ben to bay multiple pigs. All the dogs have amazing communication abilities with each other, as well as us.
